Umrah Packages 2026 | Umrah Insights UK
20 Years of Getting Pilgrims to Makkah and Madinah — Properly
We've been arranging Umrah travel for UK Muslims since long before "book online in 3 clicks" became a marketing slogan. Two decades in, we're still doing the same thing we started with: making sure the families who trust us with their pilgrimage actually get what they paid for.
That matters more than it used to. Every year we hear from pilgrims who booked with an agency offering a suspiciously low price, only to find out weeks — or days — before their flight that the hotel was never actually confirmed. One family who came to us this way had already flown out and were driving through Makkah with their luggage in the car, no room waiting for them, calling an agency that had stopped answering. We picked up the phone, found them a hotel that night, and got them checked in while they were still stuck in traffic trying to figure out what had gone wrong. That's not a hypothetical service we advertise — it's something we've actually had to do.
We say this not to scare anyone, but because it's the reason Umrah Insights exists in the form it does today: full allotments with major hotels across Makkah and Madinah, real ground staff who are contactable 24 hours a day, and a booking process that doesn't leave you finding out the hard way what wasn't included.
Affordable Doesn't Have to Mean Risky
We know why people shop around for the cheapest Umrah package they can find — the trip itself is already a big expense, and every pound saved matters. The problem isn't wanting a good price. It's that some of the agencies offering rock-bottom prices simply aren't equipped to deliver on them, and pilgrims find that out at the worst possible moment, thousands of miles from home.
Umrah Insights is built to be both affordable and reliable — not one at the expense of the other. Thousands of pilgrims already travel with us every year, across every budget level, because we'd rather quote you an honest price for a package we can actually stand behind than compete on a number that falls apart the moment you land.
Umrah Package Prices 2026 (Summer Holidays)
Here's exactly what our current 2026 summer packages cost, per person, so you're not left guessing or comparing us against a number some other agency won't actually honour:
| Package |
7 Nights |
10 Nights |
12 Nights |
| 3-Star |
£845 |
£895 |
£995 |
| 4-Star |
£950 |
£1,045 |
£1,045 |
| 5-Star |
£995 |
£1,095 |
£1,095 |
A few things worth pointing out here. The jump from 7 to 12 nights is small — often just £50–£150 more — so if you've got the time off, extending your stay by a few extra nights doesn't cost nearly as much as people expect. And the gap between our 4-star and 5-star packages is often under £50, which tells you something: at this level, you're mostly paying for hotel comfort and proximity to the Haram, not a completely different level of service.
Every package includes flights, visa processing, hotel accommodation, and transfers — with departures available from London, Manchester, Birmingham, and other major UK cities. If you want something more specific than what's listed — a different duration, a particular hotel, or a package built around a family member's needs — our team will put it together with you rather than hand you something off a shelf.
And you don't need the full amount upfront. Every package can be secured with a deposit to lock in your price, with the remaining balance paid off in instalments before you travel. This matters more than people realise in a year when prices can shift — pay your deposit now, and the price you were quoted is the price you pay, regardless of what happens to costs closer to your travel date.
What Actually Happens Once You're in Makkah and Madinah
This is the part most agencies don't talk about, because most agencies don't have it: we have our own ground staff based in Makkah and Madinah, available 24 hours a day, for the entire duration of your stay. Not a call centre reading from a script — people who are physically there.
That means if something needs sorting out, it gets sorted out on the ground, immediately, not through three days of back-and-forth emails while you're trying to focus on your Ibadah.
It also means we can arrange things most packages simply don't offer, including a personal Umrah guide available whenever you need one, and dedicated support for elderly or less mobile pilgrims.
One case that's stayed with our team: a client travelling with his elderly father, who was half-paralysed and unable to walk unassisted. We arranged full assistance for him throughout the trip — helping him perform Wudu, supporting him through Tawaf and Sa'i, with the Umrah itself performed on a wheelchair the whole way round. When they travelled from Makkah to Madinah, we arranged wheelchair-accessible seating for the journey, and once in Madinah, our team helped him complete Roza Ziyarat and pray at Masjid-e-Nabawi, guiding him through each step. The point of all that wasn't just to help him — it was so the rest of the family could actually focus on their own Umrah instead of spending the whole trip worried about him.
Two Things You Should Check Before Booking With Anyone
After 20 years in this industry, there are two things we tell every pilgrim to check — whether they book with us or someone else.
First, make sure the company is properly licensed — IATA accredited, ATOL protected, the lot. It sounds obvious, but it's the single biggest thing that separates a trip that goes smoothly from one that doesn't, because it's what actually holds an agency accountable if something goes wrong.
Second, check how long they've actually been doing this, and whether real people vouch for them. We've built a community of over 300,000 followers across our social media platforms, with more than 132,000 on Instagram alone — many of them past clients sharing their own trips, not marketing accounts. That kind of visible track record is hard to fake, and it's worth looking for wherever you book.
Beyond that, there are smaller details that a good agency should be guiding you on without you having to ask. If you're travelling with an elderly parent, insist on a hotel as close to the Haram as possible — the distance that's a minor inconvenience for a younger traveller becomes a genuinely difficult walk for someone older, several times a day. And if anyone in your group is medically unfit to travel, make sure you're arranging the correct electronic visa rather than a standard e-visa, since it affects whether proper travel insurance is attached to it. These aren't things every agency will think to mention. We do, because we've seen what happens when they don't.
Common Questions We Get Asked
Can I pay in instalments? Yes. Pay a deposit to lock in your package price, then spread the remaining balance over instalments before you travel.
Do I need a mahram to perform Umrah? Under current Saudi travel regulations, a woman can travel for Umrah without a mahram.
How long does the visa take? Our standard visa processing takes 24 hours once your documents are submitted.
What's the luggage allowance? This depends entirely on the airline we book for your package, and we confirm it with you directly rather than leaving you to guess.
Can I choose direct or indirect flights? Yes — tell us your preference and we'll book accordingly. Direct flights typically cost more; indirect routes can bring the price down if you're flexible on travel time.
What if I'm travelling with an elderly or less mobile family member? Tell us in advance. We can arrange a hotel closer to the Haram, wheelchair assistance throughout Tawaf and Sa'i, wheelchair-accessible transport between Makkah and Madinah, and a dedicated helper for Wudu and daily prayers.
Booking Is Simple. Staying Worry-Free Is the Point.
We've deliberately kept the booking process straightforward — no lengthy forms, no chasing us for a response. The easiest way to start is to message us directly on WhatsApp: 0203 355 0818. Tell us your dates, your budget, and who's travelling with you, and we'll put together options that actually fit — not a generic quote copy-pasted from a price list.
And once you've booked, our job isn't done — it's just getting started. From the moment you land to the moment you fly home, our ground team is there so that if anything needs handling, it's handled, quietly and quickly, without it becoming your problem to solve from a hotel lobby in Makkah.
